Pre Tape, Day two - Rainy Friday!

Underneath the Landings for our group opening
For the beginnings of our second day of pre-taping a tropical depression visited South Florida. Tropical Depression Hanna made the TY Park location a scratch as the Tel-Air crew was left scrambling to salvage the day. Luckily our friends at The Westin Diplomat allowed us to tape amongst the tropical surrounding of The Diplomat Landings. It had a huge transparent roof that kept the bad weather out. Throw in a hard working crew and twenty-eight delegates the day was salvaged!

The first setup of the day involved the personal introductions. The delegates were divided into two groups. They modeled and then introduced themselves in separate scenes. After a two hour delay at Tel-Air’s Studios at The Hollywood Production Center the sun came out and it was back to our schedule.

It was then time for our water park fun as TY Park was the perfect place for our twenty five delegates to have a blast splashing and riding water slides. Certainly one of the special days that makes our pageant unique as they all let their hair down and had a blast. Right around lunch time we gathered for one last romp on the slides and then everyone say goodbye as they went their separate ways to get ready for the evenings Contestant and Family Dinner at Mama Mia’s on Young Cirlcle.
