Pre Tape Day One

Downtown Hollywood Day:

The first day of pre-taping took our delegates to the Downtown Historic and Arts District in Hollywood for contestant introductions and prize tape modeling.  Twenty-two delegates meet Thursday afternoon at the Hollywood Production Center and the fun began! But before we went to our first location the delegates  were assigned their official “introduction” outfits courtesy of our sponsor Elan_USA, they will return with these outfits next month for their stage dress during the state competition. 

 

Our first visit was to The Hollywood Arts Academy as they were gracious hosts as our home base of operations Next was Hollywood’s brand new ArtsPark, a place where art meets the people of South Florida. This oasis in Downtown Hollywood hosted our day’s shooting that began with Miss Florida Teen USA 2007 Annilie Hastey who started the afternoon before the cameras. After the opening walkthroughs each delegate then introduced themselves before the camera.

After the openings it was time to get busy showing off the 2008 Prize Collection. Up first was fun new designs from Elan_USA. With the beautiful surroundings it was a great place to feature these fun designs. Then it was our shoe collection presented by Spanish Leather. This is one great designer as the ladies loved the new styles for the season. We had one more setup for the day but the rain came and postponed until September 22^nd our Bijoux Terner prize.

The day was quick and fun, but it was time to say goodnight as tomorrow is an early call as we visit The Westin Diplomat Landings Marina; Pollo Tropical and TY Parks Typhon Lagoon. Look for pictures here and for complete coverage of Florida’s Teen Pageantry Championship!
